- Blocked vents or an internal electronic or motor fault repeats under load
- Battery has lost usable capacity through age or cycle history
- Cold pack, wet or dense lumber, deep cuts, or a dull blade is increasing normal energy use
- Contacts are dirty or the pack was not actually fully charged
- Internal motor or bearing drag is drawing excessive current
- Pack is misaligned, incompatible, swollen, or damaged
- Sawdust or a bent rail is obstructing travel
- Battery release button or latch is jammed, cracked, or not returning
- Handle rails or battery-interface housing are damaged
- Pack temperature is outside the charger allowance
- Pack is not seated, outlet has no power, or charger is unplugged
- Conductive dust, liquid, or damage is present at the pack or charger
- Cell damage, internal short, impact, puncture, liquid entry, or overheating
- Incompatible charging or a damaged charger
- External terminals were shorted by metal debris
- Battery was exposed to fire, excessive temperature, or abusive load

- Saw was started against the work or forced, turned, or backed in the cut
- Wet, knotty, treated, or unstable wood is loading the blade
- Blade is dull, dirty, wrong tooth count, installed backward, or unsuitable for the wood
- Depth is excessive or bevel/depth levers are not secured
- Feed is too fast, material is wet/dense, or the shoe is not flat
- Battery capacity is low or internal drive drag appears only under load
- Operator is forcing a correction or side-loading the saw
- Blade is dull, bent, wrong, or has uneven tooth set
- Kerf indicator is being read from the wrong blade side or is damaged
- Shoe, spindle, or guard alignment is bent or loose Straightedge or guide; square; sharp straight blade; supported marked scrap.

- Pivot, depth guide, or fastening point is loose or damaged
