- Charger rail or cavity geometry is damaged
- Battery release button is not fully depressed
- Pack is cocked or bound on the charger rails
- Heat or contamination increased rail friction
- Pack housing or latch is deformed
- Charger rail or retention interface is damaged
- Battery latch or retention edge is worn
- Charger retention feature is worn or obstructed
- Pack was not pushed to the positive retention point
