• Drop, crush, puncture, or impact damage
• Cell or protection failure caused swelling or leakage
• Water or chemical contamination reached the pack
• Terminal short or overheating caused burns
• A counterfeit, modified, or rebuilt pack failed

1. The damaged battery is never charged again and is transferred through an approved safe service or recycling route; the charger is inspected before reuse.

1. Do not open, puncture, crush, tape, rebuild, wash, force-dry, or continue testing the pack; use authorized service or approved recycling.
2. Before using another sound pack, inspect the unplugged charger cavity and contacts for liquid, residue, burns, or distortion and use FM-15, FM-16, or FM-18 as applicable.
3. Do not insert or recharge the damaged pack; if it is already in the charger, remove it only when this can be done safely without force or contact with liquid.
4. Keep the pack away from combustible material and conductive objects according to local lithium-ion safety guidance.
