• Hollow or unstable surface amplifies normal vibration
• Internal magnetic component is vibrating excessively
• Impact loosened an internal mount or component
• Housing fit or foot support is no longer stable
• An internal electrical or mechanical fault is developing

1. The charger returns to normal quiet operation on a stable surface, or the abnormal-noise charger is removed from service.

1. If no hazard or damage exists, perform one supervised comparison with a room-temperature known-good pack and stop immediately if heat, odor, interruption, or visible change appears.
2. If the loud buzz or internal rattle remains new or abnormal, remove the charger from service for authorized evaluation or replacement.
3. Unplug the charger and remove the battery before evaluating the new noise; do not shake or open the housing.
4. Place the charger on a solid level surface and inspect for impact marks, loose feet, cracks, heat, odor, or debris; use FM-12, FM-15, FM-16, or FM-18 if present.
