Smoke, sparks, burning odor, liquid, battery damage, dangerous heat, or exposed structure is present.

1. The hazardous item remains isolated until professionally cleared, repaired, replaced, or disposed.

1. Stop use, clear the area, and remove the battery only if safe.
2. Place the saw and pack away from combustibles without touching leaking or hot material.
