FM-03: The Saw Starts, Then Cuts Out With The Trigger Held

The saw starts, then stops while the trigger stays held, under load or at no load.

• Pack protection opened for charge or temperature
• Blade was pinched, bound, or overloaded by the cut
• Pack is loose or the contacts are intermittent under vibration
• Blocked vents or heavy loading caused thermal protection
• Internal control or motor fault

1. The saw runs steadily at no load and through a controlled supported cut.

1. Release the trigger and wait until the blade stops completely.
2. Remove the battery, free the saw from the work, and clear any pinching or blocked vents.
3. Install a charged known-good pack and run the saw briefly at no load.
4. - If no-load cutout repeats, keep the saw out of service - if stable, correct blade, support, and feed.
