• Blade is bent, cracked, loose, dirty, or mounted off-center
• Guard or shoe is rubbing the blade
• Sawdust or a foreign object is caught near the blade or guard
• Spindle, bearing, gearcase, or motor is damaged
• Housing, handle, shoe, or fastener is loose or cracked

1. No-load running is smooth, without rubbing or harsh noise.

1. Release the trigger without twisting the saw and wait for a complete stop.
2. - Remove the pack - inspect blade, clamps, guard, shoe, and fasteners.
3. Clean dry debris, fit a known-straight blade, and hand-turn it to check for contact.
4. - Run one brief no-load test - if harsh noise or vibration remains, stop and seek service.
