The product has an electric brake, but no owner procedure establishes an exact stop time. Always wait for a complete stop and guard closure regardless of brake behavior. Trigger release ends motor power and the repaired brake consistently shortens blade coast without noise, runout, or guard contact.

- Keep the shoe supported and hands on the handles until the blade stops completely and the lower guard closes - do not set the saw down during the coast.
Remove the battery and verify that the blade, clamp washer, screw, and lower guard are correctly assembled and free of visible damage or drag.
Fit a known-good fully charged compatible pack and make several clear no-load stop comparisons without contacting wood.
