• Outer washer is reversed, missing, dirty, or not seated
• Clamping screw is loose or clamp/spindle surfaces are damaged
• Blade is bent, cracked, or mounted in the wrong rotation direction

1. With the battery removed, the blade is rigid at the spindle, rotates by hand without lateral runout or guard contact, and remains secure in one controlled cut.

1. Release the trigger at the first wobble or slip, wait for a full stop, remove the battery, and do not make another powered cut.
2. Remove the blade and reject any bent, cracked, chipped, wrong-size, wrong-arbor, abrasive, or unsuitable blade.
3. Clean the spindle and clamp area dry, inspect both washers and the clamping screw, and confirm the large flat washer face is against the blade with the bev
4. Install a verified correct blade in the marked rotation direction and tighten firmly using the blade-lock and wrench procedure.
