FM-25: Dust escapes at the locked bag-to-port joint

Visible dust leaks around the collar even though the bag is positively locked to the port.

• Collar or port seal is damaged
• Locking lugs are worn
• Bag is wrong or not fully seated
• Port mount is loose or cracked

1. No visible dust escapes around the locked collar during the test.

1. Remove the battery and pull-check that the collar is fully locked.
2. Remove it, dry-clean both mating surfaces, and inspect for cracks or distortion.
3. Refit the correct bag and run a short test on clean scrap with extraction active.
4. If dust still leaks at the joint, replace the proven bag or route the fixed port to service.
