FM-02: Sander stops and restarts with the switch left at I

At no load, the sander cuts out and resumes even though the I/O switch remains at I.

• Battery latch is not holding the pack firmly
• Contacts are dusty, worn, or heat-damaged
• Battery protection is opening intermittently
• Switch or electronic control fault

1. The tool runs continuously for at least one minute at no load.

1. Set the switch to O, remove and reinstall the battery, then pull-check the latch.
2. - Inspect and dry-clean the rails and both contact sets
3. Run at no load with a known-good pack and keep hands off the switch and dial.
4. If stop-start motion repeats with a tight cool pack, remove it and use authorized service.
