• Indicator lens or printed legend is dirty
• Bright ambient light masks the indicator
• LED, lens, or internal indicator connection is failing
• Indicator-control circuit is latched or damaged

1. The indicator clearly matches actual charging and completion, or the charging outcome is normal and the indicator-only fault is routed to service/replacement.
