FM-01 NO INDICATOR OR CHARGING RESPONSE WITH A SEATED PACK
Diagnostic overview
FM-01 NO INDICATOR OR CHARGING RESPONSE WITH A SEATED PACK
Likely Root Causes
- Outlet is dead, switched off, or unsuitable
- Plug or cord is loose, stressed, or damaged
- Battery is not actually seated or contacts are dirty
- Battery pack is faulty or outside temperature limits
- Internal charger power or control fault
Quick Checks
- A fully seated known-good pack starts a normal red-blinking charge, or the persistent charger failure is conclusively routed to authorized service or replacement.
Repair Preview
- Let the pack reach room temperature, dry-clean only the external rails and contacts, and insert it fully until retained.
- Test a second known-good compatible pack in the DCB115 and, when available, test the original pack in a known-good compatible charger.
- Prove the wall outlet with a known-good lamp or appliance, then plug the charger directly into the correct outlet without a questionable strip or extension.
- If the DCB115 remains dark with a proven outlet and known-good pack, stop owner work and have the complete charger serviced or replaced.
