FM-05: THE KIT BATTERY WILL NOT BEGIN OR COMPLETE CHARGING

The V20 battery pack will not begin charging or fails to complete a charge when placed in an approved charger at room temperature. The charger may show no indication or remain in a charging state indefinitely.

• Battery is not fully seated in the charger
• Outlet or charger has no power or blocked ventilation
• Battery is outside the permitted temperature range
• Battery or charger has internally failed

1. Charging starts and completes normally, or reciprocal testing conclusively identifies the external battery, charger, or service endpoint.

1. Let the battery and charger reach room temperature, then seat the pack fully and observe the charger indication.
2. Cross-test a known-good V20 battery in the original charger and the original battery in a known-good approved V20 charger.
3. Replace only the proven failed external counterpart or use authorized service; never open the battery or charger.
4. Remove the battery from the charger and inspect the pack, charger, cord, and contacts for liquid, swelling, cracks, melting, burning, or impact damage.
5. Prove the outlet, plug in the charger directly, keep its vents clear, and dry-clean only accessible contacts.
