• Rails contain packed dry debris or are damaged
• Battery case or tool rails are cracked or distorted
• Latch or release button is jammed or broken
• Wrong or incompatible battery pack is being tried
• Battery interface or housing is impact-damaged

1. The pack slides, latches, and releases with straight hand pressure.

1. Set the saw securely on its shoe and keep the trigger clear.
2. Press the release button, support the pack, and pull it straight out without prying.
3. - Brush the rails dry - compare fit with a verified compatible pack.
4. If the pack will not latch or release normally, stop using the saw and seek service.
